(e) Owners and guardians of wolves and wolfdog hybrids must allow inspections by law enforcement personnel at reasonable hours to ensure adequate housing and nutrition. Nothing in this Subchapter shall be construed as prohibiting local regulation of the ownership, breeding, containment or feeding of wolves or dog-wolf hybrids. Even in states that treat wolf hybrids as pets, counties and cities are allowed to pass stricter regulations or ban animal ownership altogether. District and city ordinances change frequently.
